Competitor Watch

Watches three to five named competitors every week and tells you only what changed and what you could do about it. Read only by design. One of the two free trial agents.

AdviseAutonomous $79 a month, ₹4,999

Who it is for

The owner who checks a competitor's site at 1am and cannot remember what it looked like last month, and the marketer who wants a diff with URLs, not a vibe.

What it reads from the brain

Before every run. Sections are addressed as layer.section.

identity.positioningidentity.claims_allowedproduct.pricing_structureproduct.hero_productsmodule:market: the sale calendar that decides what counts as urgent

What it does, step by step

  1. Snapshot

For each competitor: products, prices, collections, apps, plus the home page, best sellers, and any page matching offer, sale, bundle or new. Stored so next week has something to compare against.

  2. Diff

Compares to last run. Detects new and delisted products, price changes over 5 percent, new discount codes or banners, new collections, new apps (a review app appearing means social proof is coming), and theme changes.

  3. Ads

Pulls new ads since last run from the ad library: count, formats, the hook line of each, whether it carries an offer. Capped at 20 ads per competitor per run.

  4. Rank

Each change gets an impact of 1 to 3 by rule: price change on a product that overlaps yours is 3, a new offer in your sale window is 3, a new product in your category is 2, a new ad angle you do not have is 2, cosmetic is 1. Ones are dropped unless nothing else exists.

  5. Recommend

For each change at 2 or 3, one sentence on what you could do, phrased as an option, and which of your agents would do it: Ad Creative can produce a counter angle batch, Store Fix can add a price match FAQ.

  6. Digest

One screen. Maximum seven items. If nothing changed at 2 or 3, it says so in one line and stops. A quiet week is a real finding and padding it destroys trust.

Tools it uses

  • storefront.fetchCompetitor products, prices, collections, apps
  • storefront.pageHome, best sellers, offer pages
  • scrapecreators.meta_ad_library.searchNew ads per competitor per country, capped at 20
  • runs.listFinds last week's snapshot to diff against

The three modes for this agent

AdviseYour own AI, no credentials

The full workflow, triggered by you. Same digest.

ActConnected, every write waits for a tap

Not offered. There is nothing to act on a competitor's property, and offering it would be a lie.

AutonomousHosted, scheduled, still gated

Every Monday at 06:00 your local time. Same digest, delivered to Telegram. No approvals needed because nothing is written anywhere but our own storage.

Guardrails and approvals

Enforced in code. Items with a filled circle wait for your tap in Telegram.

  • Read only. Never logs in, never submits a form, never adds to cart, never contacts a competitor.
  • Respects robots.txt. One request per second per host.
  • Every item cites the URL where the change was observed. No URL, no item.
  • Price changes state old and new price and the date range. Prices went up is rejected.
  • Never speculates about a competitor's revenue, spend or intent. Observed changes only.
  • If the ad library returns nothing, it says no ads found in your country rather than implying they do not advertise.
  • The digest is under 250 words. One digest per week, never more, even if asked twice.
  • Generation cost capped per run; ad library calls stop when reached.

What it writes back to the brain

Dated and sourced. Learnings and performance sections are append only.

learnings.what_worked: appended only when a competitor move is later confirmed to have mattered
